Intercession of the Unborn

 

To help stop the anti-life push in the world, Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen encouraged the spiritual adoption of an unborn child imperiled by abortion. This is done by praying that one particular, but unknown, child is spared abortion and will be allowed to continue to live. Archbishop urged the faithful to say the following daily prayer for a period of nine months:

 

"Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby whom I have spiritually adopted and is in danger of abortion. The name I wish to give my baby is __________. During your earthly life this spiritually adopted child of yours will be known only to God, but in the world to come it is hoped that you will meet the souls your prayers saved and spend eternal happiness with them.

 

Jesus, may your peace and your love embrace the hearts, minds, and souls of the family, friends, and loved ones who encouraged this abortion and convert them to your sacred and Eucharist Heart.

Para ayudar a detener el movimiento ANTIVIDA en el mundo, el Arz. Fulton J. Sheen aliento la adopcion espiritual de un nino no nacido, le sea concedida y permitido nacer y vivir. Para cumplir esto, fue recomendado que la siguiente oracion sea dicha diariamente por el period de nueve meses:

 

“Jesus, Maria y Jose, los amo mucho. Les ruego que salve la vida a un nino no nacido que he adoptado espiritualmente y que esta en peligro de ser abortado.”

 

Yo nombro mi bebe adoptado espiritualmente ____________. Este nino adoptado espiritualmente sera solo conocido por Dios, pero en el mundo venidero y en la eternidad, tu y el nino encontraran

felicidad en la compania de cada uno.

 

Jesus, que tu Paz y Amor penetre los corazones de todos que apoyan el aborto de ests bebe y guialos todos a Tu Sagrado
