Living Rosary Monthy Calendar
How to read the Living Rosary Calendar:
- The first two lines are the dates of a (perpetual) monthly calendar.
- Each member recites the decade's of the Rosary by reading across, along with each day of the month, to the 15th day then comes back and starts the 16th day with the same decade you started on the 1st day.
- Example: reading across, on the 1st day of the moth member #1 recites G/1 (Glorious Mystery, 1st decade), 2nd day you recite G/2, 3rd day G/3, 4th day G/4, 5th day G/5, having completed a Rosary in 5 days, you now start the 6th day with J/1 etc..
- Member #2 starts the 1st day of the month with G/2 and reads across.
- Member #3 starts the 1st day of the month with G/3 and reads across.
- You will note the Rosary Calendar is set up for a 30 day month. If the month has 31 days, instruct the member to repeat the same decade on the 31st that was said on the 30th.
- If February stops at the 28th and 29th, whichever happens to be correct for the year, stop on that day and begin with the 1st day in March.
- Members who recite #1 decade, say beginning prayers, creed, etc..
